Where is the lamp made?
Our lamps and clocks are handmade in our studio in Brielle in the Netherlands.

What material is the lamp made of?
The lamps are made of high quality FSC certified paper. The paper will remain its color and quality over 10 years or more.

What do I get with the lamp?
All lamps are supplied with a white plastic ceiling cup and a textile cord with a porcelain light bulb fitting. The different cord colors can be selected per lamp model.

What kind of ceiling cup is included with the lamp?
A standard white plastic ceiling cup. You can also get a folded Kroonuppe ceiling cap for an additional amount.

Is the inside of the lamp the same color as the outside?
Yes, except for the Gradient Moth, the Tas-Ka Moth and the Wave lamp. On these lamps, there is a print on the outside and the inside is white.

Can I hang the lamps in the bathroom?
We do not recommend hanging our lamps in a damp room. It remains paper and the moisture will damage the paper more quickly.

How can I clean the lamps?
The lamps are easy to clean by blowing off dust, using a feather duster or by using a special Air duster specifically designed to remove dust from household items. Never use a damp cloth for cleaning, as this could damage the paper.

What kind of light does the lamp give?
The color of the light shining through the lamp depends on the color of the paper. Each color of paper reacts differently to the light. The white lamps and the gradient lamps transmit mostly white light. The green tones transmit greenish light, the yellow tones a yellowish glow and the pink a light pink glow.

Does the lamp only give light downwards or in all directions?
The direction of the light depends on the color of the paper. The colors brown, gray and copper only give light downwards. All other colors give light in all directions.

What kind of bulb can I use in combination with the lamp?
We recommend always using LED lights or energy-saving lamps with a maximum of 8 Watt. An 8 Watt energy-saving lamp can be compared to a 60 Watt incandescent lamp. The bulb should be E26 for use in the United States and Canada. For use in the United Kingdom and most other countries it should be E27. Below you can see which lightbulb we recommend for each model.

Which bulb can I use best for the small Moth lamp?
We recommend using an LED A15 bulb for the Moth lamp. An A15 LED bulb is smaller than a regular bulb and therefore does will not be fully covered by the lampshade. If you cannot decide on the right LED bulb, you can contact us and we can make a suggestion.

Which lamp can I use best for the other lamps in the collection?
For the other lamps you can use LED bulbs or energy-saving lamps up to a maximum of 8 Watt. The standard size is A19, but larger bulbs are possible in some of the models. You can find these lightbulbs in any supermarket or hardware store.

What kind of wiring does the lamp have?
All lamps (except the Klimoppe wall lamp) have a ceiling connection with a terminal block. The Klimoppe wall lamps have an EU plug and a switch. Outside the EU, the Klimoppe cords can be used in combination with a travel adapter.

Is it difficult to install the lamp?
Our lamps are easy to connect by opening the screws in the terminal block and attaching the wiring from the ceiling to the terminal block. By attaching a hook to the ceiling, and attaching the plastic ceiling cup to it, the ceiling cup will remain in place. With the use of a Kroonuppe there is no need for a hook.

Can I adjust the cord to the desired length without having to shorten it?
Yes, this is possible by rolling the cord in the plastic ceiling cup.

When using the Kroonuppe, the cord must be shortened to the desired length.

Can I order the lamps without the electrical parts?
Yes, that’s possible. In that case you do not pay for the electrical parts. You can select the option ‘no cordset’ for this.

Can I get the lamp with a cord with a plug attached?
This can be done at an additional cost of 10 euros by sending us an email at info@studiosnowpuppe.nl We then supply a cord set with switch and plug with the lamp.
For customers outside the EU, a travel adapter is required to use this plug.

Can I get electrical parts for the United States?
For orders to the US and Canada, we provide the cord with a US E26 lightbulb fitting. Only the Klimoppe cords have an EU plug. We cannot replace this plug with a US plug. In that case you need a travel adapter to use this plug. We can also supply this at an additional cost.

You can also choose to buy just the lamp without the electrical parts. You can select the option ‘no cordset’ for this. Separate US cords can be ordered from suppliers such as www.colorcord.com

Can I also order just the cables?
This is possible. The price per cordset is 25 euro. If in stock, we can send this cord set right away. If not in stock, there is a delivery time of approximately 6 weeks. Send an email to info@studiosnowpuppe.nl if interested.

Which payment methods do you offer?
You can pay your order via iDEAL, Paypal, credit card, bank transfer, Apple Pay or Sofort.

Payment is not successful / it is not possible to order on the webshop.
If you can e-mail the order and your address details to info@studiosnowpuppe.nl, we will create your order and you will receive an invoice from us. You can pay this invoice with Ideal, Paypal or bank transfer.

I have not received an email confirming my order.
Send an email to info@studiosnowpuppe.nl and we will send you the confirmation.

Do you ship to where I live?
We ship orders worldwide and use a track & trace link.

What is the delivery time?
You can get an estimated delivery time of the order per country here

Orders shipped to Norway, Switzerland or countries outside Europe (especially the United States and Australia) can sometimes have a longer delivery time. This is because the package passes through customs and can be hold by them to check the contents. The customs of these countries are legally allowed to hold the package for 30 days and unfortunately we have no control over this.

Can delivery be faster?
It is possible to opt for express delivery. There are higher shipping costs involved with this. You can request express shipping by emailing info@studiosnowpuppe.nl We will then make an estimate of the costs for this express shipment.

I have not yet received my order, where can I track the package?
You can track your package via the Post NL track & trace link that we send you when we ship your order. For more information, please email info@studiosnowpuppe.nl

I had to pay customs fees, can I reclaim them?
No, you are responsible for possible customs costs.

What kind of packaging is used for shipping?
The lamps are transported in a very sturdy cardboard box, where the lightbulb fitting and the cord are secured in the box with an inlay or filling material.

I want the lamp in a different color.
This is possible. Sometimes we can order a small amount of paper sheets in a different color from our supplier. Stuur een email naar info@studiosnowpuppe.nl voor de mogelijkheden.

I want the lamp in a different size.
We have a larger or smaller sizes available for some models. For other dimensions, please send an email to info@studiosnowpuppe.nl for the possibilities.

I want a longer cord or a color that is not on your website.
This is possible at an additional cost. However, a delivery time of approximately 6 weeks applies, because we have to order this from our supplier.

Can I order the Klimoppe lamp with a different color Chestnut or Moth?
Yes this is possible. Every color of the Chestnut or Moth lamp can be combined with the Klimoppe. You can choose all options in the webshop.

I think the lamp is too small can I exchange it for a larger model?
Yes, you can exchange the lamp for a larger model. You then pay the difference in price.

The lamp does not meet my expectations, can I return it?
Yes, this is possible. We would like to ask if you would prefer to exchange the lamp for another model or color. If you want to return the lamp, we will refund the purchase amount.

I want to return the lamp, to which address can I send it?
Our studio is located in Brielle in the Netherlands. The address is on the contact page and in the footer of every page of the website.

I have not yet received my order, where can I track the package?

My lamp has a damage, what should I do?
Please take a picture of the damage and email it to info@studiosnowpuppe.nl Then we will replace the damaged part. If the lamp is damaged during shipment, we will send a new lamp.

Can I visit you?
Yes, we usually have a possibility to visit the studio on Wednesdays. Please make an appointment in advance via info@studiosnowpuppe.nl
